Living Healthy

Prevention & Health

Lifeness participates in events and promotes projects dedicated to prevention and the dissemination of healthy and conscious lifestyles, with the aim of making Rome and Italy a true wellness ecosystem. Through seminars, meetings, and educational initiatives, Lifeness fosters a culture of health based on proper nutrition, physical activity, mental well-being, and everyday awareness.  Our goal is to improve people’s quality of life and contribute to the sustainability of the National Health Service by reducing the incidence of chronic and degenerative diseases through prevention and individual responsibility.

“From Chemistry to the Mind” Conference

On 15 June 2026, Lifeness – Health, Food & Longevity hosted an international conference on neuroscience and the psychology of taste at Italian Chef Academy in Rome.

Supported by the Municipality of Rome, with institutional greetings from Mayor Roberto Gualtieri and the participation of Councillor Carla Fermariello, the event brought together leading experts from Harvard Medical School, National University of Singapore, University of Rome Tor Vergata, and John Cabot University.

At the heart of the discussion was a fascinating question: is taste truly only a matter of chemistry? The scientific insights presented during the conference highlighted how flavour is a complex experience constructed by the brain and influenced by memory, culture, the microbiota, and imagination.

The event concluded with a longevity-focused tasting experience curated by Chef Emiliano Lopez, followed by a mindful eating session led by Dr. Sara Pelli, reaffirming Lifeness’ mission: making science accessible through food.

Lifeness at Taste of Rome 2026

Lifeness participated in Taste of Roma 2026 as an Official Partner, supporting Italian Chef Academy in the design and implementation of the Taste Arena programme. Through a rich calendar of masterclasses and educational sessions, the event highlighted the concept of Longevity Cuisine, fostering a dialogue between haute cuisine, scientific research, and nutritional innovation. This experience further strengthens Lifeness’ commitment to promoting a food culture focused on well-being, prevention, and quality of life, bringing together knowledge, expertise, and conscious choices for a healthier future.

Lifeness at Fiera Didacta Italy with the Italian Ministry of Health

Lifeness – Health, Food & Longevity took part in Fiera Didacta Italia, the leading event dedicated to education, training, and innovation in the school sector. From 11 to 13 March, we participated in the exhibition in Florence at the Fortezza da Basso, within the exhibition space of the Italian Ministry of Health. Throughout the three-day event, Daniela Galdi led a series of sessions focused on the relationship between food, emotions, and mindful eating as part of #ciboamico, a project conceived and promoted by Lifeness. Our contribution formed part of the Communication and Participatory Information Programme for the Prevention of Nutrition and Eating Disorders, supporting the promotion of education, awareness, and prevention among students and educators.

Lifeness at the European Parliament for the promotion of health and prevention

Lifeness was honored to participate in the meeting “Lifestyle Promotion, Health Education” at the European Parliament, a forum for discussion on the topics of well-being and prevention.
Together with the European institutions, the City of Rome, and the associations present, we signed the Manifesto for the Capital’s Territorial Health Alliance, a concrete commitment to a stronger and more inclusive network for universal health. Lifeness advocates a model of local and community-based care, based on proximity, solidarity, and participation, for a healthier, more equitable, and more inclusive Rome.

Lifeness at the Longevity Fest in Porto Cervo

Lifeness participated in the fourth edition of the Longevity Fest in Porto Cervo, alongside professors, scholars, and scientists from the most prestigious Italian and international universities, including Harvard.
From September 5 to 7, 2025, the Costa Smeralda hosted the world’s first festival entirely dedicated to longevity and quality of life. Conceived by director Pietro Mereu, the Longevity Fest brought together experts, doctors, and researchers to explore not only how to live longer, but above all how to live better. This extraordinary event brought together science, culture, gastronomy, and the local area, transforming Porto Cervo into a true innovation laboratory for the future of health and well-being.
